We met friends for brunch. Certainly had a great time. We were not rushed and had a very leisurely pleasurable meal with great music. We will be back. The Benedict was great. Potatoes are EXCELLENT. THE CATFISH WAS ALSO DELISH

The food never disappoints. Today, I had the catfish po boy and it came with a side, I chose a cup of gumbo. The catfish is amazing! Just like my Momma made. The others in my party shared the hush puppies which were decadent and the beignets are light and not too sweet.

I’ve had dinner at Angeline’s twice and both times our meal was delicious and plentiful. We’ll be back the next time we’re in the area

Angeline's is usually a joy, and the food is always a delight. Tonight's meal would have been too, had it arrived hot, but sadly, by the time we got our food it was only lukewarm, trending towards cold. We had an event to get to, otherwise we might have asked them to reissue the food order. The floors was pretty slammed when we got there, so our food might have been a casualty to the maelstrom, but the food we saw arriving on other tables seemed to be in good order. To be clear, I am not assuming bad intent, our order likely slipped through the cracks. We weren't so daunted by the evening's miscues, as to not give Angeline's another go at some point. This meal was an outlier, and in fact, had it been served hot, it would have been right near the top as our past visits/meals have always been wonderful.

We had brunch on Sunday. The options were yummy. I enjoyed the jambalaya with mushrooms, but my friends' fried chicken with beignets looked delicious. They loved it.
