   $35 per person For NYE. Reservations are recommended to get a table. We chose a 7:45pm slot and sat at a high top with table for two. Venue was fully booked. people without reservations were allowed in (standing room only). The show Lasts about 1.20 min . Cant comment about dinner since I had an Early bite at Au Cheval, but did order a whiskey sour 💪🏽. Onto The band. These guys were Outstanding. Their sound was full on trumpet, sax, trombone, bassist, drummer and pianist. They jam a few songs together then Each musician had their solo. Each solo was phenomenal as well.. I’m from LA and frequent a very popular jazz spot, Pips on La Brea and tonight’s band rivals some of the best talent that perform there. You’re missing out on some dope live jazz if you pass on this place. I would even recommend going here alone. Jazz is that good. Just a note to all patrons, please tip the musicians if you can. They put in work and the sound is unbelievable. We had a great time at Andy’s Jazz Club. We’ll be back.

   If you're in the mood for an unforgettable night filled with soul-stirring music and incredible ambiance, look no further than Andy's Jazz club! A venerable Chicago jazz institution, this place is an absolute treasure and a must-visit for anyone who loves live jazz music. From the moment you walk in, you are transported to another era - with photos of Jazz Legends along the "Wall of Fame". You will feel transported to another era. The dim lighting, vintage decor, and luxurious vintage bar create the perfect vibe for soaking in the music. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure you have a great time. Having been a regular for 20 years, I can tell you that Andy's consistently books *phenomenal* talent, all across the jazz spectrum. I think the energy at Andy's inspires artists to bring their "A-Game". Their cocktail menu is solid and reasonably priced. The same goes for the food. My personal favorites include a Manhattan with the braised beef short rib with butternut squash. The black pepper truffle tri-cheese stuffed jumbo prawns are fantastic, as well. For desert I recommend the chocolate lava cake. And another Manhattan. Whether you’re a jazz aficionado, a newbie to the genre, or just looking for a cool spot to unwind, Andy's delivers on every level.

   Exceptional performance and service. From the front door host to our table host JR, well served and enjoyable. Mario and Abney effect were deserving of the guests resounding accolades. Food was better than one would expect at a music venue and deserving of the 3.5/4 stars. The earlier sitting for us was perfect and charged up the rest of our evening.    Second time at Andy's and it did not disappoint. The food and drinks were excellent. I started with an espresso martini. Then had the prawns and polenta with asparagus and bread pudding for dessert. Hubby had a mojito, surf n' turf, followed by the apple pie. Everything was delicious, but somewhat small portions. The New Orleans Jazz Band was energetic and got the audience involved and pumped up. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. Definitely recommend for a date night or cozy evening with a few friends.

    We always enjoy coming here to hear the Barristers’ Big Band and to enjoy the food. A real retro experience.
