   This is a nice quiet restaurant with excellent food and service. Every time I come to Ashland I must eat here at least once. They are very attentive to people’s schedules to attend plays etc. They have a superb wine selection.

   The service and food were outstanding. As you might have noticed in your research, everything was very expensive. We were rather surprised to see the bartender in sweat pants and a hoodie. When we’re paying that kind of money, we expected staff who respected their customers with more appropriate personal presentation.

   Lovely evening sitting at the bar. Expecting to order a steak for dinner however black cod was a fantastic choice. They serve a mean old fashion.

   Absolutely stand-out delicious food and friendly, knowledgeable staff with strong professionalism. We loved everything. The dining area is a bit quieter and stuffy compared to the bar, though cute and charming in an old house setting. The bar was a whole different atmosphere with subdued house music and a sexy feel. Perfect for dates or special occasions. I trusted the waiter’s recommendations and he was spot-on with both food and drink. We came here on a road trip and it was the stand out dining experience of our whole vacation! Props to the team’s efforts.

   The Alchemy bar may be a hidden gem in the middle of Ashland. The limited happy hour menu offers tasty food at bargain basement prices! Couple that with expertly crafted cocktails by a most engaging bartender and you have a recipe for an exceptionally enjoyable early evening. Wonderful!

   Beautiful restaurant in a nice setting. The Mushroom mushroom appetizer was interesting, I wasn't sure if I was suppose to dip bread in it or use a spoon and consume it like a soup. After the appetizer there was about a 15-20 minute wait for the main course. My main course Rib Eye steak was very rare and even cold in some spots after asking for medium rare. The 3 side potatos were just okay with no seasoning. The Filet Migon came in 2 pieces, 1 being cooked perfect and the other piece was cooked well and over done. For 3 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 2 steaks you are looking at $200+ just keep that in mind. Party of 2.

    We had a wonderful evening at Alchemy. The Steak Tartare was our starter. Classic presentation with bursting flavors. My lover had Filet Mignon, while I ordered the Beef Wellington. Our server was whity , courteous and prompt. He suggested pairing from the wine list for her and spirits for myself. While existing we made small talk with a gentleman that we turned out to be the owner. He was charming, kind and humble. We loved this evening and look forward to our next visit.
