About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Fancy
  • Good for special occasions
One of the few remaining Miami locales offering traditional afternoon tea, the Biltmore is arguably the most elegant venue, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, magnificent lobby and majestically mantled fireplace. The refreshing repast is served daily and is complemented with and elegant harpist. Reservations are recommended.

I took my mom for our first High Tea at the Biltmore. It was wonderful. The food was so delicious. There was a harpist which made it so special. Our waiter was so sweet and he went above and beyond to make everything special. Can’t wait to go back.

Tea in the magnificent lobby of the historic Biltmore Hotel is not to be missed. The elegant setting and live harp music are very relaxing. Not stuffy at all! Our teapots were constantly refilled and the savory and sweet snacks are all delicious. My favorites were the warm scones, the tea sandwiches (chicken salad, cucumber, beef tenderloin) and the little custards! Our server, Nestor, made the afternoon extra special! He took good care of us and broke into song!

Better than expected experience thanks to our waiter, Nestor, who was not only informative and attentive, but surprised us with two arias. The food was unique and worth every calorie. My family has decided to make this a traditional stop when they come to Miami to visit us.

Excellent experience at the Biltmore Hotel's Afternoon Tea. The service was very friendly upon arrival, and the teas, sweet treats, and savory treats were top-quality. We were very pleased with the harpist and our host's voice. We will return!

We had a marvelous afternoon with the whole family; the food was exquisite and what delighted us was a lady playing the harp. The experience was incredible thanks to our waiter Nestor, who guided us throughout the different dishes and tea options. Definitely a must if you visit Florida!

Nestor was a wonderful host. Not only was he attentive, he surprised us by singing as well. The food was great and he accommodated my 5 year old daughter as well- brought her “kid-friendly” sandwiches. The harpist was incredible. I highly suggest doing for lunch.
