   Great experience here as always. Simon was great all around and recommended an excellent wine. The food awesome as always. It was super cold out and the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The pumpkin cheesecake, divine.

   We really enjoyed our dinner at Acero last night! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the chef’s tasting menu, which allowed us to chose items from the regular menu to enjoy in smaller portions.

   My goodness, what a gem! We had the 4-course tasting menu with the recommended red Piedmont wine. Started with roasted mushrooms soup (amazing: the balsamic was a great accent!); I had the raviolo (too much butter for my taste, if would have been best with a very light tomato sauce or just even aglio, olio e peperoncino) and my husband had the lamb ragù tagliolini (fantastic!). For second, I opted for the duck confit (OMG!!!!! So tender!) and he got the lamb chops. Dessert was the goat cheese panna cotta (incredibly light!) and he had the tiramisu (should have been chilled). The manager (Assiz?) was delightful with his stories and humor. We hadn’t been in a long time and it seems like the interior was more intimate a rustic… felt more authentic to this (real) Italian! We will definitely come back!

   This is the fourth year in a row that we have come to Acero’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was our 49th wedding anniversary and without a doubt it was a most enjoyable experience. The service was exceptional and the food outstanding. We’ve never had a bad meal at Acero’s. We highly recommend this restaurant.
