This was my first experience dining at 555 East for Valentine’s Day, so keep that in mind.Walking into the restaurant was a bit confusing, but once inside, the ambiance was amazing truly a beautiful setting. After checking in for our reservation, we waited only a few minutes before being seated, which was a quick turnaround. Our reservation was for outdoor seating, which we knew when booking, but the atmosphere outside was noticeably different from the indoor dining area.As we walked up to the outdoor section, I noticed the raised floorboards, which felt a bit unstable something to be cautious about for you and your party. We were seated next to a heater lamp, which was great for my partner, who was cold. Unfortunately for me, it was a little too warm, but I dealt with it. However, towards the end of the night, as the restaurant was closing, they let the heater slowly die out, and my partner started getting cold again. Our server was fantastic—attentive and accommodating but the overall service throughout the night was inconsistent. The kitchen was slow, and we had to wait multiple times for my portion of the four-course meal. Out of the four courses (excluding dessert), I ended up waiting longer for three of them. Meanwhile, a couple seated next to us who arrived after us received their food quickly, finished their entire meal, and left before we even got our first course. That was frustrating, especially since it felt like our table kept getting overlooked.I tried to be understanding, given that it was Valentine’s Day and a busy night, but the delays were a consistent issue throughout the evening. When we finally finished our last course, the check came, and I paid. However, after that, the service completely stopped no one checked in on us again, which made it feel like, once the bill was paid, we were no longer a priority.Overall, while the ambiance and our server were great, the service issues made the experience disappointing making the dinner aspect dissatisfi

Went for Valentine's Day Dinner. Not sure if it was overbooked or just really popular because there was a line of people waiting. Luckily we had reservations and didn't have to wait long. The food was incredible as was the service.

We have been to 555 for the past 3 years for Valentine's Day. This year we were extremely disappointed about our experience, as we were looking forward to the great food and service. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience on this special day, as we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation, had to wait too long in between courses on a set menu, and served lackluster food. We did speak to a manager to took off our non-alcoholic drinks from our check. They also did not have the photo booth or special take-home gifts as previous years (not a requirement, but something we noticed). Due to our experience this year, we will be looking for a new Valentine's Day dinner location for next year. We are super said about this.

Our service was outstanding. Ray was personable and friendly but not overly attentive which is exactly what I like when I want to talk to my wife while eating out. The food was great and I enjoyed the overall quality of the restaurant. While it was for a Valentine Day dinner it wasn’t anything but nice and enjoyable without being tacky or exaggerated. Will absolutely recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Our reservation was at 3:15 PM, and upon arrival, we were promptly seated and greeted with water and bread. However, the water provided was tap, and it was quite unpleasant. While our appetizers were good, our experience took a disappointing turn when we ordered our entrées. We initially requested the 30-day aged bone-in ribeye (18 oz), but our waiter informed us that it was unavailable. He then suggested the 45-day aged ribeye as an alternative, only to return moments later to inform us that it, too, was unavailable. This was quite frustrating—how could a steakhouse be out of prime cut ribeye so early in the evening on Valentine’s Day? The waiter then advised that the 60-day aged ribeye was gamey and not the best option, recommending the New York steak instead as the closest alternative. We went ahead and ordered the 18 oz New York steak—medium for me and very well-done for my husband—along with French fries, asparagus, and sautéed spinach. When our food arrived, both of our steaks were cooked medium-rare, which was not what we had requested. We had to send them back, and by the time they were corrected, our sides had gone cold. Additionally, throughout our meal, multiple waiters repeatedly checked in to see if we were done and ready to pack our food—so frequently that even the couple seated next to us commented on how disruptive it was. Frustrated, we decided to take our food to go. Upon receiving the check, we noticed that the steak was listed as 20 oz, which we had not ordered. At that point, given the overall disappointing experience with both the service and the food, we simply paid the bill and left. We had hoped to try something new for Valentine’s Day, but unfortunately, we left unimpressed. The waiter was extremely nice but the service was lacking, and the meal did not meet our expectations.
